Enjoying Life
This is me at Idlewild's fall festival. We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. I had made up my mind that even though I had to go in a wheelchair and couldnt get into the rides anymore, I was still going to enjoy the day. And we did! We packed up homemade fried chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad, and a giant chocolate chip cookie (his faveorite). It was one of the funnest (is this a word?) days ever!
Kids
One of the great things that being sick can teach us is that we have to enjoy every minute we have. We don't know how many more we are going to have. I am very blessed in my life to work with kids. They bring joy to everyday. No matter what I feel like, a child can make me laugh. It seems like they know how adults are feeling and they work with that.
